Personal Statement
At some time or another, we need support and encouragement from others to see us through lifes difficult challenges. Whether the challenge regards a life transition or the after effects of a traumatic experience, it may prove difficult to find peace and healing on our own.
Choosing to attend therapy could be the step you take that allows for breakthrough and renewal. The perspectives I offer each client are professional, objective, and come from a place of compassion. I believe that building a trusting relationship between client and therapist is fundamental to treatment. From forming this relationship, together, we can determine which course of action will be best suited to meet your needs.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, self-esteem, and stress. I also provide counseling for lifes many transitions, such as grief and loss, divorce, academic and occupational issues, and relationship conflicts. The treatment models I work with most include cognitive behavioral therapy, MATCH-ADTC, and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
