Personal Statement

Mind, Body, Heart healing that promotes transformation and embodiment of emotional experiences. I specialize in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Complex Trauma, Dissociation, Obsessive & Compulsive Disorders, attachment trauma and history of abuse. I also provide next step coaching for those who desire to continue to grow, expand, and stay stabilized for life.

We desperately need an expanded view of trauma, as it simply comes from distressing experiences that stay unresolved. Painful experiences, become neurologically frozen in time, thus creating dysfunctional patterns in Body, Mind, and Heart. We ALL benefit from resolution. Let’s begin healing trauma symptoms: overwhelming emotions, intrusive and distressing thoughts, mood disturbances, anxiety, panic attacks, body image issues, low self-worth, bingeing, purging, substance abuse, self-harm, self-destructive behaviors, anger outbursts, suicidal thoughts, avoidance, shutting down, compulsive rituals, hoarding, unresolved grief, extreme pleasing, perfectionism, clinging to and/or pushing others away, and more.

I am a certified Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist and EMDR Consultant in Training. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am also actively training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Ego States therapies. I utilize attachment-, somatic-, and energy-psychology and techniques. I am also fully trained in Prolonged Exposure and Exposure Ritual Prevention therapies, as well as a certified yoga instructor. My wholistic approach combines modern psychotherapeutic practices w/ ancient healing wisdoms.
