Helping people cope with everyday stressors and maintaining healthy relationships is my goal at New Horizons. I provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy to a diverse population, treating pre-teens to adults with a variety of issues.
Although I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), I am most interested in helping those working through hoarding issues, as well as clients that have high-functioning autism and immigrants. I provide services in English and Spanish.
Clients may wish to see me regarding a range of issues, from ADHD, anti-social personality disorder, Aspergers syndrome, emotional disturbance, and behavior issues to obesity, academic underachievement, self-harming, divorce, suicidal ideation, and many more issues that keep people from living the lives they want. My job is to guide clients toward self-awareness and goal setting, so they may achieve peace and resolution. It may be necessary to change behaviors by changing thought patterns, and I provide that through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other mindfulness techniques.
