Personal Statement

Are the pieces of your life’s puzzle not fitting into place? Have your plans and goals taken a back seat to anxiety, fear, or depression? Whatever issues are making you feel “stuck,” my goal is to help you overcome your struggles and create a richer, more satisfying life. Reaching out can be a scary process, but you are not alone. Therapy is a collaborative partnership, providing a safe setting to explore life’s challenges, at your own pace, employing your own voice and feedback.

I utilize various therapeutic orientations, allowing for maximum flexibility to meet each client’s specific needs. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and open minded. At times, I may incorporate humor and my own experiences as a way to foster positive change.

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults of all ages with an array of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship difficulties. I have a special interest, and expertise in working with, individuals experiencing grief and loss, young adults suffering from low self-esteem, and working with the LGBTQ community.
