    My Approach to Helping

We all experience difficulties in our lives. Many of us have had traumatic experiences which can have all kinds of negative impacts on us and those around us.. In over 30 years of practice, I have brought compassion, respect and knowledge to helping others discover a more joyful and successful life.
If you are a victim-survivor of trauma or abuse, I can help you heal the negative effects of those experiences so that you feel more in charge of your life, while relieving the effects of anxiety and depression. I am skilled in a variety of therapeutic approaches including EMDR, which has been shown to be a powerful tool in eliminating the effects of trauma. I also use the Flash Technique, which is a revolutionary new tool for erasing the effects of trauma, while bringing up very little emotional disturbance.

If you are having relationship issues, I have expertise and genuine interest in helping you regain your appreciation and respect for one another, increase your feelings of love, improve communications and empathic understanding, while addressing and healing any earlier baggage that may be affecting your relationship..

I truly believe that you have the inner strength and wisdom to have the life you want to have. In our work together, I will help you tap into that wisdom and develop it further.

    More Info About My Practice

I have seen therapy result in remarkable transformative changes in people’s lives. Since the need for therapy is so great, I believe in making it available to individuals with more limited means as well as to those who are better off economically. .For this reason I provide a sliding fee scale from $60 to $120 for individual and couples sessions. I accept cash, check and credit cards. Since it is so important that clients feel a good connection with the therapist they are working with, I offer a free initial consultation.
