Personal Statement
Ms. Brown has experience helping individuals and couples cope with both everyday struggles and extraordinary obstacles. She believes in fostering a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment in which to explore fears, deep wounds, and above all, each individuals inner strength. Through a carefully cultivated therapeutic alliance, she strives to help her clients communicate their wants and needs more effectively, and to find their own unique meaning in even the most difficult of journeys. Her areas of specialization include trauma, illness, grief and loss, life transitions, communication, and intimacy issues.
I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. My therapeutic approach involves creating a safe space for compassionate, collaborative, and challenging dialogue, driven by my clients’ unique, deeply personal goals for their relationships, careers, and overall well-being.
