Personal Statement

Are you encountering challenges in your life, such as stress, difficult emotions, reactions to traumatic experiences, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, difficulties with relationships and career? Together, we will find ways to process and work through such issues to enable you to engage fully with your life and enhance your personal development. I will work with you to promote healing in all areas of your life with a holistic approach and open mind in a comfortable, non-judgmental and safe space for many kinds of self-expression.

You may be wondering: Is art therapy for adults? Can I talk the whole session and not make art? Some people are more comfortable talking and choose not to use art making for exploration. Others discover that art therapy can help with stress management and exploration and enhance verbal processing.

From a trauma informed perspective I will provide a safe space for you to process your experiences and challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, complex trauma and related issues, body and food issues, relationship and interpersonal challenges, as well as creativity and career discovery and growth.
