    My Approach to Helping

Today you will start on the path to the new you where you will feel empowered and work toward positive change and well being. Synergism is defined to mean that the combination of two forces can result in the combined sum being greater than each separate force on it’s own. Together you can, with the help of an experienced therapist, make significant positive changes in your life, thus, creating synergism.

As a client centered therapist my approach is to help you uncover your true potential and lead you to a creative and fulfilling life worth celebrating. We will work together to help you understand difficult situations from your past while acknowledging that those situations cannot be changed. We will work together to discover long standing behaviors or negative perceptions that may be blocking you from engaging in and living life to the fullest.

If you feel you could benefit from some extra support or guidance through a trying time in your life or are ready to move in a new direction, I would love to help you achieve your goals.

Please call or email me for an individual, couples or family therapy consultation today.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

It is critically important for a person seeking therapy to feel that they can trust and talk to their therapist about their history, issues and feelings. If you attend two or three sessions and do not feel that you “click” with your therapist it is time to see if you can find someone else who you do “click” with. Therapy is typically a difficult process and in order for a person to make progress they need to feel “safe” in relating very personal information to their therapist.
