Specific Issue(s) I’m Skilled at Helping With
I specialize in helping people with issues relating to sexuality. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I specialize in helping couples work through issues with sexual intimacy, as well as infidelity. In this work, I also help people who are in the LGBT community, by helping them with self-acceptance, issues relating to coming out, and any other issues in their lives where an affirming therapist is needed.
I’m also trained in The Daring Way, which is an experiential program based on the research of Dr. Brene Brown. I offer Shame and Vulnerability groups that utilize this work to help people build stronger connections and become more resilient to shame.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
I encourage clients to come into therapy weekly, but also work with clients bi-weekly. Meeting regularly keeps things on your mind and also helps to build the solid relationship which is the most important thing in therapy.
