My Approach to Helping
We are all inherently social, relational creatures and it’s painful for us when we struggle in any meaningful relationship – be it romantic partners, colleagues, friends, family, or anyone else. You likely already know that you can experience this pain emotionally, physically, or both. Sadness, worry, guilt, aches and pains, sleep problems, change in appetite, stress, and frustration are just a few of the ways that a lack of connection, or a rift in relationships, can impact you on a daily basis.
I want to help you learn how to master your interpersonal relationships so that you can replace that emotional and physical pain with feelings of fulfillment, meaning, connection, and authenticity. Relationships are my specialty and my passion! Building and sustaining valuable connections isn’t just about how you interact with others, it’s also about who you are in those interactions. Having a positive, solid sense of self is critical for finding and keeping the kinds of relationships you want. You can reduce your distressing symptoms, feel centered in yourself, and improve your relationships – and therapy can help you get there.
I work with both individuals and couples who have a wide range of issues that bring them to therapy. I am affirming of all sexual and gender identities and relationship of any type or make-up.
If you are looking for a therapist who will be active, honest, focused, optimistic, and humorous on your journey, then please get in touch with me so that I can start to be helpful to you.

How Psychotherapy Can Help
Often clients come to me feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about one or more areas of their lives, and they’re so busy keeping up with their lives that those unsettled feelings hover in the background all the time.
I help clients find stillness, focus, confidence, and motivation to effectively resolve those issues and move forward with direction and purpose. You’ll be amazed how energized and lighthearted you’ll feel when we turn down the volume of background stress in your life!
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
It happens, unfortunately all too often, and I am so sorry that it happened to you. It makes sense if you’re wondering whether you should try again to reach out to a professional given how discouraged or upset you feel.
I would never be so brazen as to assure you that I will be the perfect therapist for you, because I might not be. But what I can tell you is that I promise to listen, really listen, to what you need and why that previous experience didn’t work for you. And then I promise to be honest with you about whether I may be able to offer something different.
