Personal Statement
Chances are you want help with something or someone. Using new as well as tried and true techniques we work on ways to make more sense of your life in a way that makes sense to you. This often brings relief and clarity. As a Creative Arts Psychotherapist, Psychoanalyst, Clinical Social Worker, and EMDR therapist my aim is to match your needs using whichever approach is most effective.
We get overwhelmed, confused, which often looks and feels like trauma. This feeling affects development, relationships, and life progressions. With a sensitivity to our nervous systems, I use a variety of treatment approaches including Art Therapy, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems to help you find relief and understanding. I provide a safe, comfortable environment in which to work, where we can focus on your needs and concerns.
For the work we do together to be effective, you must feel comfortable with me and in the space where we meet. Thats why I have a sunny, warm office and why we find ways to weave fun and play in to our sessions, even when we are dealing with uncomfortable feelings and experiences.
