    My Approach to Helping

Life gets complicated. You may be trying all that you know how to do but have run out of ideas, energy or both. Whether it is an old would that keeps getting in your way or you just need someone compassionate, caring and outside of your everyday life to help you work something through, what matters to you, matters to us.

We work with kids aged 6 and up, adolescents and adults. Sometimes we work with people individually, or in couples, pairs, families or groups. You and your therapist will sit down together and decide what is the best course for you and your situation.

We are a group of Licensed Clinical Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Licensed Counselors. We help people work through anxiety and depression, and we also have a great deal of expertise in helping people heal from past or recent trauma, from over-eating, from drugs, alcohol, gambling and sex addiction. We also have therapists skilled in helping couples improve, heal or repair their relationships, as well as therapists offering safe, affirming therapy for LGBTQ clients.

We realize that reaching out is a big step and we will do everything we can to help you meet with a therapist/counselor as quickly as possible.

We will be glad to spend some time with you by phone to make sure that we are a good fit. We won’t just sit silently, but we will do everything we can to listen and help you heal and move forward, move on.?

    More Info About My Practice

We are all licensed therapists and are covered by most insurance policies. We are In network (which may result in lower out of pocket expenses for you) with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Magellan, Cigna, UBH and Medicare.

    How Psychotherapy Can Help

By and large we all do our best in life. But we can only do what we know how to do and what our hearts and minds will allow us to do. Sometimes we make decisions even though we know it’s not good for us, but we can’t seem to help it. Or we feel anxious or depressed and we can’t get out of it. Therapy is a process that helps us uncover and repair what is blocking us from feeling good and happy and in charge of our lives.
