My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is more collaborative then directive. Although I can be directive when appropriate, I tend to work best when I support your process of self-discovery. We work together to listen deeply and observe the patterns that are challenging you to gain clarity and insight about situations, feelings and emotions. We look at behaviors, thoughts, and experiences you’ve had in the past, to learn from them, and develop skills to support yourself through the process. Maybe there are areas in your life that are causing you pain, or embarrassment, shame, and guilt. Maybe you’d like to change, understand yourself better, learn more about who you are and feel more positive. We can discuss what you’d like to accomplish in therapy, what your intentions are and any goals you may have. We can discuss how I can help you support your healing process together.
Essentially, we all want to be happy, and experience peace in our life. If this resonates with you please feel free to contact me for a free consult. Thank you.
