Personal Statement

The objective of my practice is to provide clients with objective perspectives to help them gain insight toward autonomy, empowerment, and personal growth. I approach each person with compassion and understand that healing must be achieved through taking personal responsibility and generating individual coping skills. I work with individuals, couples, and groups seeking relationship counseling.

As a trained and dedicated professional for over ten years, I offer many therapeutic services to direct my clients overcome life’s most difficult obstacles, such as depression, family conflict, alcohol and drug abuse, anxiety, and codependency. The techniques I use include existential meaning-of-life therapy, person-centered therapy, motivational enhancement therapy, reality therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and spiritual and creative art modalities.

In addition to therapeutic services, I also provide support to mental health and substance abuse professionals, who seek educational opportunities, such as workshops, presentations, and other guidance.
