Personal Statement

I love what I do and feel privileged to assist my clients in creating their emotional wellbeing. My goal is to help you support you. I have been a therapist for over 15 years and I believe that an effective therapist provides compassion, empathy, creativity, and a place of safety and support. I believe therapy is an investment one makes in themselves. I offer individual therapy to teenagers, adults and parents with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and relationship issues. Life is hard, and everyone needs support. We work together on the skills to support your emotional wellbeing.

I work with various ages; teenagers dealing with anxiety and stress related to adjustment issues and social/ academic pressures; families to support parents in parenting skills and behavioral management; individuals with anxiety/depression, to address sleep issues, interpersonal/relationship issues, using mindfulness and self care in healthy choices.

Using a collaborative approach, I help my clients address and acknowledge negative patterns, engage in better decision-making, build stronger relationships, and create attainable goals. I utilize both cognitive behavioral and solution focused theories to help articulate concerns and goals, and work towards them in a healthy and positive manner.
