My Approach to Helping
I am available on 8am-8pm on weekdays and weekends! I am in network with Blue Cross & Blue Shield PPO, Cigna, Aetna, United, and Value Option plans and out of network with all other plans. For out of network clients, I will be pleased to provide receipts and paperwork. Evening and weekend appointments are available.
As a solution-focused therapist, my objective is to help clients unearth their inner potential and live a life that is worth celebrating. Though we can’t alter painful situations from the past, we can work collaboratively to better understand and resolve challenges in individuals’ lives. By employing complementary therapy techniques and approaches, we will unearth age-old negative perceptions or behavior patterns that may be hindering the clients from experiencing a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
Therapists and clients work together. Once that therapist’s credentials and competence are established, is someone’s level of personal comfort with that therapist. A good rapport with your therapist is critical. Choose one with whom you feel comfortable and at ease.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
The reality is that majority of people in therapy are ordinary people who are dealing with everyday problems. We all might at some point in our life experience feelings of anger or grief, or might be adjusting to major life changes, working on self esteem, or wanting to improve relationships. Therapy should be the place where feelings are welcome. Why not share the problems with the therapist who would empathize and provide support?!
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
After some time, therapist and client cheek their list and see if the client is closer to reaching hisher goals review progress. It may be helpful to check daily feelings and coping in difficult situations. Termination starts with a discussion about whether it might be a good time to end therapy. For long-term therapy, termination date is set ahead and that is a good thing; it gives clients time to get comfortable with the idea and can be talked about in continuing psychotherapy sessions.
