My Approach to Helping
Hello. As a professional individual and couple’s treatment provider, I believe skilled psychotherapy requires a number of different factors, while taking place within a relaxed, respectful professional relationship. A therapist needs to have an excellent understanding of human behavior, problems that can result or disorders that can develop, and how people can progress to grow and change. There’s no place for therapist disrespect or condescension, a dynamic that all too often derails treatment.
Examining one’s difficulties by exploring and talking about them is a very important aspect of treatment. Some contemporary trends are really nothing more than transient fads, with traditional talk therapy often being irreplaceable.
Thanks for reviewing my profile and for the consideration of our working together towards your greater health.
More Info About My Practice
My fee is $140 for a regular session (45-50 min). In order to concentrate on therapy matters and not business, I no longer participate with insurance companies. However, many clients are significantly reimbursed by their insurance if they wish and are able to do so. I can assist you in this process. Payment is due at the time of each visit.
