Personal Statement
My counseling style is eclectic. What that means to you is that I meet you where your at and use the appropriate evidence based techniques to assist you in obtaining the degree of peace and healing you are satisfied with. I am able to bring a Christian perspective to the therapy room whenever you tell me it is appropriate and desired. Help is available.
I am a Masters graduate of Liberty University where we were taught the latest evidence based theory and brief interventions in the field of counseling. There was the additional challenge in their scholastic program that encouraged the student to examine these disciplines according to Biblical truth. I have pursued additional training in substance abuse, emotionally focused couples therapy and spiritually focused addictions treatment.
