Personal Statement

My therapeutic philosophy is founded on the belief that individuals are inherently motivated to move toward health and wellness. Growth is achieved through accessing one’s creativity and wisdom. Each individual is unique and thus, my clients experience work with me as personal and a “good fit” for his/her skills and personality. Therapy is collaborative and grounded on my sincere respect for those who engage in challenging yet gratifying self-exploration.

I’ve been a private practice psychotherapist for over 20 years. After extensive trainings and workshops, I have experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I work collaboratively with clients, recognizing that each person is unique and that a strong and safe therapeutic relationship is critical. Clients with whom I work appreciate that my philosophy is one founded on respecting the individuality of each person.
