Personal Statement

For over 15 years, I have practiced psychotherapy as a licensed clinical psychologist. I have worked in a number of settings, including community mental health centers, child guidance clinics, residential treatment centers for youth, and international research projects. I am certified in clinical hypnosis and internal family systems (IFS), and I specialize in cross-cultural psychology.

I provide clients with diagnostic and treatment services, based on a variety of mental health issues, which include emotional problems and physical problems stemming from emotional issues. I treat people struggling with anxiety, stress-related pain and illnesses, depression, phobias, eating disorders, panic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociative disorders, and other mood/behavioral/emotional/mental disturbances. By using state of the art therapeutic techniques, I also work with clients to quit smoking, lose weight, and adapt to life’s many transitions.

Depending on an individual’s needs, I can offer psychotherapy utilizing a number of modalities, from guided imagery, play therapy, and sculpting/art therapy to cognitive therapy, rational-emotive-behavior therapy, and clinical hypnosis. Please, contact me to schedule a free 30-minute consultation. I hope to provide you with a secure, comforting, and responsive environment to lead you to a place of healing and understanding.
