Personal Statement

Therapy is an important tool that can help you to understand how you relate with others as well as how you understand yourself. I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in working with individuals and couples with psychological and interpersonal issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, relational problems, and trauma related disorders. In my work with couples, I use the Emotionally Focused Therapy model to help partners recognize and shift patterns in their relationship that get in the way of a more loving connection.

I have an eclectic approach and I believe psychotherapy is a powerful tool to explore our inner world, to make the subconscious conscious and to make sense of behaviors and patterns in our lives. I use a personable, insight and goal oriented approach to work with you to make the changes you want.

In addition to her work with individuals and couples, Dr. Roberson is a certified Eponaquest Instructor and has trained with Linda Kohanov, author and pioneer in equine facilitated learning.
