Personal Statement
Dr. Rafferty completed her doctoral degree in Clinical Child Psychology at the University of Kansas in 2010, internship at Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, and fellowship at Childrens Hospital of Orange County. She has also worked in the psychology and pain departments at Childrens Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and continues to be a member of the Hospitals Professional Staff. Dr. Rafferty is passionate about helping children and their families overcome distress and reach their full potential. She enjoys helping individuals who struggle with mood disorders, behavioral concerns, and adjustment to life stressors.
Furthermore, as a Pediatric Psychologist with specialized experience in working with children with acute and chronic medical conditions, she firmly believes in providing care that addresses the mind-body connection. Dr. Raffertys expertise includes treating children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer, blood disorders, chronic pain, and obesity.
