Personal Statement
Hartford Counseling is part of The Matthew Project, Inc., a non-profit organization that helps people in financial difficulty with counseling. Unlike many clinics, we do accept and work closely with providers of Forward Health/BadgerCare. We are strongly compassion-based and will do all we can to help. We work as a team for our clients and do what is right by them.
The goal of The Matthew Project, Inc. is to provide quality mental health services. Our counselors are primarily graduates of Liberty University, Concordia University or other Christian universities. Our focus is on helping individuals and families, regardless of circumstance, to live better lives.
The non-profit is managed by Gary Probst, LPC, of Hartford and Dr. Thomas Lehmann of Life-Span Family Services in Brookfield and Milwaukee. We have counselors available in Hartford, Brookfield and North and Prospect in Milwaukee.
