Personal Statement

Hello, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist working in private practice. I have a master’s degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in marriage & family therapy and am a doctoral candidate in progress earning my PhD in depth psychology. I am a depth psychotherapist who works within a psychodynamic framework. What that means is I’m interested in getting to know all of you: your past, current issues, and future goals. I also am interested in exploring your inner world, the unconscious motivations of actions and choices. My range of training and education has led me to develop a style of practice that encourages exploration of your inner world with practical application to here and now concerns and life events. My style of relating to my clients is open and supportive, while also allowing space for sometimes challenging feedback and exploration.

I work with teens, young adults and adults addressing a range of issues. My background includes twenty years in the entertainment industry and I have unique knowledge and empathy for those in the field. I have years of training and education in analytic psychology and am interested in working collaboratively with clients to uncover unconscious motivations.
