Personal Statement

Are you looking for treatment that provides timely and lasting results within a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment? Evidence-based psychotherapies are treatments that are based on scientific research to be highly effective for a wide variety of psychological problems. As a specialist in evidence-based practice, my approach is most often short-term (8-24 sessions) and uses techniques to help you to resolve present-day concerns, by modifying unhealthy thinking and behavioral patterns, and by empowering you (or your child) with well-established strategies to enable you to serve as your own therapist for life.

My current areas of expertise include comprehensive assessment and treatment of Anxiety (chronic worry, panic, fears/phobias, health anxiety, separation anxiety, etc.), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Trichotillomania (hair pulling), Dermatillomania (skin picking), Tic Disorders, Child Behavior Issues, Insomnia/Sleep Issues, and Social Skills Deficits.

I provide services for children and adults and also conduct parent consultation sessions, helping families learn effective strategies to develop successful interventions for their child. I would be happy to consult with you briefly to help you find the right treatment for yourself or your family. I am committed to providing the highest standard of care to all of my patients and would love to help you find the right treatment for yourself or your family.
