Personal Statement

I believe life is a sacred journey. At times, however, we find it hard to know how to meet life’s changes and/or challenges that inevitably come our way. We feel stuck, lost, and not sure which way to turn. I can help you find the right pathway to move forward and bring change in your life that will strengthen you as you proceed on this journey feeling more empowered and integrated.

I am a therapist of 15 years experience working with a wide range of issues from depression, anxiety, phobias, abuse, grief, and trauma. As I believe each person is unique I take an eclectic approach in the helping process so that the therapy can be tailored to your specific needs. We will work together to discover your talents and abilities which can be utilized to help you find the right path to walk forward.

I also work with couples and/or families. It is so important to have that special bond with a partner and in a family to build relationships that are lasting and which can weather life’s storms. I can help you recognize what is causing the conflict and unhappy reactions to one another. This will enable you to have a fuller understanding of why you react a certain way to your partner–what emotions are triggered and why, for instance. Recognizing your pattern/s of communication also give direction as to where to go for change and a deeper sense of closeness.
