    My Approach to Helping

My philosophy and approach to helping people is about helping client’s achieve their goals. That is the most important!! As a trained clinician, I offer clients different treatment options that are best suited to their own specific goals. Short-term counseling and more in-depth psychotherapy are sometimes both utilized in the process of therapy.

    More Info About My Practice

I do not accept insurance, but will provide detailed receipts for client’s submission to insurance companies. If your insurance company provides for out-of-network provision, than this option will work for you. Most of my client’s pay for therapy at the time of their appointment and then seek reimbursement, if they need to use insurance.

    Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

According to much of the research in the field of counseling, the therapeutic alliance is the most significant predictor of positive outcome in therapy. As a result, I spend a great deal of time with my client’s getting to know them. While my relationship with my clients is not friendship, it is friendly, warm, and compassionate. My clients feel safe and protected while in my care.
