I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, who has provided therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. I also teach full time at Brigham Young University, Idaho, where I share my knowledge and expertise to others regarding marriage and family therapy.
I specialize in discernment counseling, which helps couples identify their goals of marriage. Mostly, discernment counseling is brief and focuses on whether to continue life together in a marriage or to divorce. While this approach is not marriage counseling, it is a way for couples to decide if resolving their conflicts is desirable.
