Personal Statement

As a licensed professional counselor, I specialize in couples counseling. Many couples find themselves stuck in pain due to affairs, pornography, lack of engagement from one partner, conflict in parenting, sexual differences, and other issues. The result is often that trust is diminished, communication is non-productive, and connection is sporadic or even non-existent. I can help! Through proven methods of helping couples, I have been thrilled to see couple after couple back on a path of healing.

I have decades of experience working with couples in different Christian ministry settings as well as professional counseling. Most of my adult life has been spent in various settings helping people move forward in their lives, including pastoral ministry, national and international speaking ministry, teaching as college professor, and directing a large school of worship program. I enjoy my unique combination of utilizing biblical principles with recognized counseling techniques, which sets me apart as a counselor.

I also offer premarital counseling and am certified in SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts).
