    My Approach to Helping

I provide a supportive, safe atmosphere where I can help you face challenging difficulties. If you are dealing with relationship problems or are feeling stagnant concerning your individual life goals, I will earnestly listen, help recognize unhealthy behavior patterns and will help problem solve ways to break free from ingrained behaviors so you can feel more empowered and live more freely. Problems can be effectively dealt with within a supportive therapeutic relationship.

My training and experiences are diverse. I appreciate helping clients gain a better understanding of themselves and am always thankful for the honor I have in helping people overcome hurdles and ultimately make changes. I enjoy working with people struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, relationshipmarital issues, parenting, fertility and prepost partum pregnancy issues.

I customize my therapy approach with specifically what each person needs.

Please visit my website listed on the right of the page for more information about me.

For privacy and confidentiality reasons, I do not accept any insurance. I am happy to provide an itemized bill for you to submit to insurance where you may receive out of network mental health benefits, according to your insurance plan. I am always willing to discuss fees and provide sliding scale fee as an option to those who may need it.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I believe that my own struggles have helped make me a better therapist because I can empathize greatly with the pain and suffering we all endure. I know what it is like to sit in the patient chair and how it feels to struggle and wrestle with problems where we are looking to another to help us heal. I am very much in the room with my patients and am highly motivated to bring them to places where they will feel relief and contentment in their lives.
