Personal Statement
I work with people in life transitions, helping them find their new normal and thrive there. I treat adolescents, adults, families, and couples experiencing emotional distress related to grief and loss, mental illness, divorce, marriage, retirement, chronic illness, career change, death, birth, parenting, empty nest, and relationship conflict. The emphasis is on you and what you want to accomplish.
I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to work towards meeting my clients goals. My approach to developing this relationship is to be genuine and real. I am happy to talk about absolutely anything in therapy sessions to help clients on their path to improved well-being. Therapy should not feel stuffy or awkward, it should feel relaxed and judgment-free.
I am the founder of Seasons Psychotherapy Associates, member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), proud Florida Atlantic University alumni, dedicated wife and mom, and completely controlled by to two spoiled dogs and one cat. In my spare time I like to travel, read, binge Netflix, cook, and scuba dive.
