My Approach to Helping
Many people are touched by depression, anxiety and life transition. I’m passionate about my work with adults and adolescents to assist in a variety of areas. My over 15 years of experience using techniques to nurture the mind, body and spirit enable me to help clients shift into mindful living. Achieving this balance makes us less vulnerable to dis-ease.
In addition to degrees in art therapy and counseling, I have training in yoga and advanced training in heart-centered hypnotherapy which can be highly effective for deeper levels of healing. Hypnotherapy enables us to process strong emotional content or trauma in a safe and deeply healing way; meanwhile identifying the rootsource of the problem or behavior pattern. Hypnotherapy has allowed many of my clients to achieve relief and healing in ways that talk therapy could not achieve.
I use a variety of hands-on tools to foster communication, honesty, trust, and problem-solving skills, and this ultimately helps my clients achieve better judgment and more insight. I focus on building each individual’s strengths. This approach can be particularly helpful for people struggling with self-esteem challenges.
I’ve helped adults, adolescents, and children in both individual and group settings, and have experience working with a variety of issues. I welcome the chance to help you and your family.
