Infertility is a struggle that involves a variety of emotions and reactions such as depression, anxiety, marital discord, grief/loss and stress. It is a difficult journey for any woman or couple, and one Amy Shore has personally experienced. Amys challenges conceiving a child inform and guide the work she does as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in helping women and couples through infertility issues.
Amys first-hand knowledge navigating the infertility process having used both military and civilian health care means she is uniquely qualified to support and guide you through this difficult time, helping to resolve challenges and apply complementary therapies.
Some of the specific issues Amy can assist with through counseling include developing a healthy support system, increasing coping skills, building resiliency and dealing with loss. Amy can also support you through various phases of treatment including third party reproduction such as egg donors, sperm donors, adoption or surrogacy.
