Personal Statement
Many people will face challenges and adversities that they cannot face alone. Everyone deserves to be heard and accepted, and everyone deserves an opportunity to heal and transform. I act as a coach and partner in the therapeutic relationship. I have a passion for encouraging others to change negative behaviors and aspire toward healthy goals. Together, we can find the path thats right for you.
The objective of my work is to help you identity your inner strengths and teach you the skills you need to make a positive change. I am a licensed clinical social worker, certified in dialectical behavior therapy, which means that I act as a support to learn self-awareness and acceptance, how to properly communicate, how to regulate emotions, and how to manage crises situations. Through this process, I integrate a number of techniques to meet the needs of each individual. These methods may include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and behavior modification techniques.
Clients see me for a number of reasons, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship problems, experiences with trauma, anger and behavioral issues, substance abuse, low self-esteem, eating disorders, fertility problems and experiences with post-partum depression, self-harm, grief, adjustment issues, and stress management. Please, contact me to see if I can be of service to you.
