    My Approach to Helping

Are you struggling in relationships? Feeling lost or “stuck”? Are you overwhelmed with feelings of sadness or worry? I can help you to create meaning and grow in the face of your challenges.

My practice is deeply influenced by my belief that all people are creative and fundamentally capable of change. Your insight, intelligence, ideas, and perspective is an invaluable tool in our work together. Individuals, couples, relationships, and families work with me to find the solutions, clarity and peace that they want and deserve in this life.

I am particularly skilled in the treatment of trauma, abuse, and eating disordersproblems and am dedicated to promoting sex positivity in my work.

The world can be a difficult, challenging, rewarding, and beautiful place at all once. I look forward to being your collaborator and guide as you face life’s challenges and go about realizing your own vision for your life.

    More Info About My Practice

I work on a sliding fee scale and offer clients assistance with filing for out-of-network benefits from insurance providers. I invite you to call or e-mail to discuss fees and payment.

Specific Issue(s) I’m Skilled at Helping With

My work as a trauma therapist allowed me to develop skill and expertise in helping others to heal from trauma such as sexualphysical abuse, sexual assaulttrape, domestic violence, neglect, and exposure to violence. It’s also focused my attention more broadly on the ways in which my clients’ experiences have shaped their views of themselves and the world around them. I am also particularly interested in working with issues related to food and body image, including eating disorders.

I’m dedicated to sex positivity and view human sexuality as a precious and integral part of the human experience. My practice is a safe, non-judgmental space for LGBTQ individuals and polyopen relationships.
