    My Approach to Helping

Through marriage counseling at The Marriage and Family Clinic, we help couples stop poor communication, heal past difficulties, and rebuild their marriage into one that’s strong, loving and fun. We help you create the successful marriage you’ve always wanted

We also help you overcome whatever challenges your family is experiencing in order to create peace and harmony in your home. Through family counseling at The Marriage and Family Clinic, we help you and your family create understanding, respect and appreciation for one another. We can help you and your family feel close, connected and involved with each other again.

At The Marriage and Family Clinic we believe therapy should be healing, engaging and fun. You can’t heal a marriage by only bringing up the bad things. So we strive to help you and your partner feel comfortable talking openly about the difficulties you’re having so you can transform your communications into ones that are healing and that express appreciation for each other.

Specific Issue(s) I’m Skilled at Helping With

We specialize in marriage counseling at The Marriage and Family Clinic. The reason we specialize in this is because as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I received specialized schooling and training in this form of therapy. No other discipline requires near the couple and family training that my education and training did.

Additionally, I keep actively involved in my professional community as a family and marriage expert. I write for several magazines and websites all on the topic of marriage and family. I am also on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. This helps me keep up to date on the latest and greatest within the field and through this professional experience you can rest assured that you are getting the specialized professional care your relationship needs.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love to be able to help people. I find this the most fulfilling part of being a therapist. I love to see people overcome challenges within their marriage and within their families and to be able to help them do so. It’s very rewarding for me to see people’s lives change for the better and to have a part in that.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

This is an easy one. Therapy is done when you say it’s done. Not me. After you’ve accomplished the goals you want to accomplish you’re done with therapy. It’s as simple as that. However long or short that takes is completely up to you.
